What happens if it rains on my bouncy castle hire day?
All our bouncy castles are safe to use in light rain – just give the bounce area a quick dry with a towel and carry on! However, for safety reasons, we cannot allow hire to proceed if there are high wind gusts exceeding 25kph, heavy rain, or a yellow or above weather warning. We reserve the right to cancel bookings in dangerous weather conditions.
What is the cancellation policy for bouncy castle hire?
Deposits are non-refundable. However, if your Taupō party hire cannot proceed due to bad weather (heavy rain or high winds), you won’t lose your deposit – you can reschedule to another date within 6 months of your original booking. If you cancel for other reasons, you will forfeit your deposit.
What surface do I need for a bouncy castle in Taupō?
Bouncy castles situated outdoors need a reasonably flat grassy area (slight slopes are fine) so they can be staked down securely. The area must be completely free of sharp stones, objects, dog mess, or excessive mud. If your castle is returned dirty or muddy, an additional cleaning fee will apply.
How much space do I need for bouncy castle hire?
The minimum space required is listed on each bouncy castle’s description page. Any overhanging trees and prickly bushes need to be trimmed back before setup. Check our website for specific dimensions of each castle and waterslide.
